I believe people have the answer they are looking for, sometimes we need to learn to listen. My work is about helping you slow down enough to hear yourself clearly, then make choices that fit the life you want to build.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with a Master's in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver. I have been in practice since I graduated in 2022, since then, I have worked with adolescents and families providing in-home treatment with a focus on substance misuse disorders, while addressing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression and underneath it all, trauma.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who are ready to move past whatever has been holding them in place and build something more sustainable for themselves, and for the people around them.
I view therapy as a working partnership. You bring the expertise on your own life. I bring training, perspective, and a willingness to be straight with you. Together we will examine how your patterns formed, what's still serving you, and what you're ready to change.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, flexible and client driven. I draw on CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative, and person-centered approaches depending on what resonates with you. Some seasons call for practical coping skills. Others call for slowing down and looking at the stories and relationships that shaped you. Often it's both, and I'll help you sort out which is which.
Whatever brings you in, my goal is the same: that you leave sessions feeling heard, validated, and more able to move forward with a direction in mind.
Clients tend to describe me as direct but compassionate. I'll challenge you when it helps, always with care and respect, and I'll make sure you feel supported while we do it. If that balance sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd be glad to talk.
